Route 516 repair work related to a flooding issue remains ongoing. Middlesex County Officials are hopeful that the work will be completed by mid-morning tomorrow, Monday, March 2.

Please be advised that during tomorrow morning’s school arrival, all eastbound traffic on 516 will be stopped at Cottrell Road and redirected. Hard closures will be at Higgins Road and Bennett Road, with detours at Cottrell and Partridge Roads, and additional detours will continue to impact local traffic patterns.

Our Old Bridge Police Department’s Traffic and Safety Unit will be stationed at all detour locations to assist with traffic flow and ensure safety.

While the most significant impact will be felt near Old Bridge High School, we do anticipate residual delays across the township that may affect bus arrival times at all schools. Please allow extra time in the morning and remember that the most important priority is arriving safely.

Wednesday, February 25 was originally scheduled as an early dismissal for students and a full day for staff PLC. In the interest of safety, we will instead operate on a two -hour delayed opening schedule for all staff and students. All PLC activities will be rescheduled. See delayed opening schedule below:
